Babel ES2015 modules false

Quick question. Now that the es2015 preset gives you the ability to turn ES6 module conversion off is this preset still needed for roll up to work?

This preset is no longer required, for the reason you mention.
As mentioned here you can achieve what this alternative preset does by passing extra configuration to the standard 'es2015' babel preset:
Simply change:

plugins: [
  babel({
    plugins: [
      'es2015-rollup'
    ]
  })
]

to

plugins: [
  babel({
    plugins: [
      ['es2015', {modules: false}]
    ]
  })
]
