In OWEFE we do want to use oemof only as simulation platform. In the case of the biogas-wastewater system in Tibnine, that means besides system internal demands (electricity & heat for the digester), there are no other demands to meet. However, we do want to simulate the production of electricity, heat, fertilizer, and irrigation water of the system. Therefore, we created "excess sinks" which do not meet any demand. So far, there are no flows to the excess sink, or at least cannot measure them. Thus, we do not reach our goal of simulation the water, energy and fertilizer production of the wastewater biogas system.
What is the problem here? How can we use oemof for pure simulation of production without the need of meeting a demand?
