Directory Structure of OWEFE for Creating a Package

On the long rung, we want to establish OWEFE as a package. Now, in the development time before the first release, we are wondering how we should structure our directory. The examples we do run, should already use the source code (src). We could obtain this by putting the example main files into the main directory.

What would be the way of structuring the OWEFE directory for making it a package in the near future?

You already have the proper structure to make your project a package (as in: posted in pypi and installable via pip install owefe), I think you´re using @Bachibouzouk´s RLI template for that. I am not all that into making stuff a package, so probably he can help you out better here.

Right now, you post your examples there, right?

I am not 100% sure where you will be going with the OWEFE - if you want to build something like offgridders or the MVS for example for the WEF context. How your interface to the inputs is, and to the outputs. You should clear that up first.
