{rjd3revisions} is very similar to {reviser}. In particular, there are a number of features that are very useful and that should also be developed on {rjd3revisions}:
- extract release number n (equivalent to
get_nth_release) (especially in long format)
- Add a
release number column to vintages to indicate the release number of this data
Differences
One major difference is in the revision analysis. {reviser} always compares one vintage of the data with others, whereas {rjd3revisions} compares vintages 2 by 2 with a gap >= 1.
