Are existing issues still priorities?

I’d like to contribute to reearth-cms and I am considering working on the following issue:

“[FE]: asset upload modal not closing after errors (#470)”

I noticed that all the issues are from 2022–2023 and are still open, so I’m wondering if working on them is still a priority.

Would it be preferable to tackle these issues, or would you recommend starting with another task like good first issues. If there are any like that, please let me know.

If it would be preferable to work on tasks in other repositories (e.g. reearth-visualizer), please let me know.
