@Levi0804 Hi! Thanks for your interest in the 2nd half of the issue. I just split this issue up into 2 sub-issues. The one you are interested in is: #432. I will amend that issue to add more information on how you can get started (and where to find the code, etc).

Hello, sorry for the super late response and thank you for splitting the issue. I'm interested in working on both the issues but I was a bit confused about the fps counter in particular which is why I asked. After going through the examples that you linked in the other issue, I think we’ll have to modify the styled text to look like an FPS counter, right?

You can see this if you run the following:

cd tui
nu run.nu examples
# Select tui_apps
# Type 5, or 4, or 3
# Move the cursor around and you will see the FPS counter on the bottom

If you have preference for styling it, please give it a go. You can also share screenshots of what you have, so I can take a look at it too (before the PR) 👍🏽

In any way, whatever styling you choose, if you use styles then we can modify it easily. There are some global colors and styles that are in the codebase to make all the apps made using the library look compatible by default.

No worries. If you'd like I can even assign you to the issues if you would like. It doesn't matter to me either ways, since there aren't that many contributors outside of me 😄
