I made a working egg for this already, but i'm not sure what the rules are on posting it.

I made a start too. You can just export and attach your json to your comment like so:

egg-windrose.json

Note: Currently no access to PC and Steam Deck won't let me type invite code in so connection untested. As is .pteroignore file for backups.

If someone cleans it up and submits a PR before I can get around to it, great!

Edit edit: Updated egg to fix .pteroignore syntax. If anyone has installed already just edit the file in root with

[!IMPORTANT] To ensure the same world is loaded on restart make sure to copy WorldIslandId from R5/ServerDescription.json into the variable in Startup tab.

Correct, island id will be auto generated on startup too. What I mean is within the actual game as controller support is lacking a bit. Steam Deck shows on screen keyboard but typing does not enter characters.

Anyway, thanks for testing connection in-game for me, good to know it is working!
