Use the backups

When the wizard for CC3 was run, it should have created .claude.backup.{date} in your user directory. This/these will contain your settings.json and the original skills and rules you may have created before CC3 installation.

Run docker ps to see if docker is running a postgres instance for your handoffs and learnings. You will want to bring those down.

If so, visit the docker/ directory at the {root} of the repo in a terminal. Run docker compose down /docker-compose down.

It is possible that you may have another instance or two running from opc/. If so, the docker ps will show opc in the container names. run the same command in the opc/ directory.

Claude Code v2.1.7 fallback

The user's .claude directory has the following default structure. It will be recreated if you remove all the contents of .claude and run the claude cli.

so pull the latest, and choose uninstall and it will do ^ for you
