Footer floats over side content

I've discovered the same thing as this other issue (#93) so I'm making a new issue since that one is closed.

Reproduction steps:

1. add a large image for the logo so that the issue is more apparent
2. open Chrome dev tools as a bottom panel

Expected results:

1. the footer doesn't show up on top of the logo

Action results:

1. the footer text is seen on top of the logo
