Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When boosting posts, they all show up one after the other, which spams my followers with lots of my boosts at once. Similarly, if my followers also follow the original poster, they're likely to see both the OP and my boost back-to-back.
Describe the solution you'd like
It would be nice to have a "queue" of posts, which the user can optionally add bosts/toots to in lieu of posting immediately. Then at predetermined times (once per hour, say) a post from the queue will go live. This makes it so the user can queue lots of boosts or toots in the morning and then have them go live over the course of the day, which prevents the boosts and toots from "clumping" and which distributes posts to a wider range of times, solving both of the above problems. This idea will be familiar to anyone who has used tumblr in the past, as it is a core feature of the site's culture.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Features similar to this have been requested before, but as far as I know there's no way to schedule boosts at all right now. The linked feature request is a few years old now, and so it's possible that this would be easier to solve now, especially since it seems that FediLab has the ability to schedule boosts -- though they do not have the kind of queue functionality which I'm looking for, and instead the user has to manually choose a time for the post to go live.
Additional context
Thanks in advance!
