Strange icon in the status bar in LMDE 7

Hello.
I’m using LMDE 7 and recently I installed some updates with the update manager.
I think I’m now with the Mint 22.3 features.
There is a problem for me with the status bar.
As you can see in the picture I have two icons for the keyboard layout.
I normally don’t use multiple layout so I did add one before the screenshot to make the real icon appear, the icon at the right that show « fr » in white.
I don’t know what is the « FR » in blue. It appeared after I update my system and restart my computer. This icon do nothing. I can’t click on it. When I change the keyboard layout with the true icon this blue icon still show FR.
I didn’t find any solution to make this icon disappear.
I looked in the system monitor to see what process could possibly make this icon appear without success.
If I right click on the task bar to restore the default settings the icon stay and an other one appear. (2 icons at the end and even more if I repeat the procedure.)

How can I remove this useless icon please ?

After killing some process in the system monitor I finally found that this icon is tied to ibus. After some research I found a way to disable this icon in the dconf-editor:
Go to desktop/ibus/panel and set show-icon-on-systray to false.

After a restart the icon is gone.

I don’t know why this isn’t like this by default.
