After killing some process in the system monitor I finally found that this icon is tied to ibus. After some research I found a way to disable this icon in the dconf-editor: After a restart the icon is gone. I don’t know why this isn’t like this by default. |

Go to desktop/ibus/panel and set show-icon-on-systray to false.
After a restart the icon is gone.
I don’t know why this isn’t like this by default.
