Add a setting to save disk space for users that use flatpaks.

Please add the option to remove unessary flatpak runtimes when they are no longer needed, the option should be added to the update manager settings, this simple option would easily save GBs of space with no drawbacks.

flatpak uninstall --unused

And maybe provide the option to delete leftover user data from preiviously installed flatpaks as well.

Yes, this seems like an obvious improvement. Those Flatpak runtimes can accumulate a lot of disk space.

I also think when unistalling a flatpak from the start menu a choice should also be provided to trash the user data from the flatpak being removed, espeicilly with simulation games the user data left behind can be quite big.

I personaly use warehouse to manage flatpaks when I'm doing system maintince and cleanups.

Let's not overdo it. When you uninstall with apt, user data is always left behind. Let's make it simple for the devs to just clean the unneeded runtimes during updates.

It's just a fitting addition, but is not the primary idea, I was also told my last batch of idea's was to simple and boring to impliment so having more substance is a good thing apearently.

And their is already a built in option in the the updater or the software sources tool to purge old configurations from uninstalled software, the user needs to actually press the button any time they want to do so to clean up thier system but the option is their. And since flatpaks are not core packages the risks of removing old user data from removed flatpak's has zero risk.
