iterm2 or kitty images support

I understand that point of asciicast format in general is its small footprint but having some kind of image support for asciinema player could be beneficial IMO
Is this an absolute non-goal for the project?

Kitty image protocol support probably won't happen. Graphics in general (not Kitty one specifically) would inflate the recording files by a few orders of magnitude, making them harder to share, use more storage, and memory in the browser when replayed.

I understand the appeal, and it would be doable I think, but yeah, I would put that on the non-goals list unfortunately.

Thank you for answering, i guess i just have a weird use case for it (presenterm, as it is still a lot smaller than video even with images)
