Hello,
I have noticed from my animations that the STACEY_ABSORBING_CONDITIONS are causing reflections at the boundaries. Therefore, I would like to switch to PML_CONDITIONS. In the Mesh_Par_File, I have set ADD_PML_AS_EXTRA_MESH_LAYERS to true. However, the simulation runs into a SIGFPE error. Could this be related to the number of PML layers I am adding or the thicknesses in x-y-z? How should I determine appropriate values for these parameters?
Secondly, I am using a kinematic source model and have a stacked CMTSOLUTION file with numerous half-durations. I decided to use the dominant frequency (f0_FOR_PML) from the file with the largest half-duration, but the simulation still encounters the SIGFPE error. What should I consider while selecting the f0_FOR_PML value?
I would greatly appreciate any guidance.
Best regards,
