Functional requirements:

• Allow to choose a country or a region (Europe, North America, ...)
• Allow a choose a path to specify the ZIM location where the created path should be written
• We should be able to set all mandatory ZIM Metadata on the command line
• Choose the level of depth for the map
• Provide (ZIM) suggestions over locations available on the map

Non-functional requirements:

• command line tool
• Fully available in one container
• Should be able to run in the Zimfarm
• Written in Python3

What this is

A Python 3 command-line tool that generates offline map ZIM files
from OpenStreetMap data. The tool runs non-interactively inside a
single Docker container and is designed to run in Zimfarm.
