LD2410b/variant support request

I have several xm-he201 24ghz radar/pir/light sensors cuz i got them super cheap (if anything they are worth it to desolder the ld2410b modules inside for diy projects). They have a w800 chipset.

There is one half-complete config for this module that supports the pir and light sensor here https://www.elektroda.com/rtvforum/topic4159383.html....but there is nothing for the ld2410b radar modules.

Can someone please make a driver? Is support even possible for it here? Protocol spec pdf available in the forum link. These are pretty common radar modules. They speak uart.....esphome and tasmota both have drivers for it

I removed the ld2410 radar modules from 2 of the sensor pucks i have. Hooked up to serial. I found an English version of sscom and was able to send the 3 hex strings needed over uart at 256000 bit rate to reset and enable bluetooth on the modules. From the hlk radar android app I was then able to connect and update the radar firmware....the two ive done were ancient, and i have no idea of knowing what protocol changes could have been implemented in multiple years of firmware revision - meaning idk if the radar modules i modified and updated could ever work with a driver built for the radar firmware originally on it....if that makes sense lol......gonna build them into somethin with one of the esp firmwares

Ld2410 driver would be amazing. There are cool features beyond the radar in the stock sensor puck. A driver is beyond my ability. Especially one that speaks uart

I got that on my TODO list as well, actually couple of radar sensors waiting for some free time...

In general it will be easy to implement and support them as OBK already has UART support - just time, on my end.

Hold on to it, it will be done at some point (hopefully soon)

This is LD2410B, not LD2410, correct?
If so, then it should have Bluetooth, and be able to connect to HA directly.

These w800 sensor pucks have ld2410b.....but bluetooth comes disabled on the radar module inside the sensor puck, and the only way to enable it is remove the radar and hookup serial
