misleading log message: Write parms: start 0x1F0 (sector 0), len 0x10000 (496 sectors) - 0x1F0000 truncated to 0x1F0. Also, which sector 0 referenced here?

File write command sent with wrong VIRTUAL mapped address fwd 0 1 981f0000 instead of fwd 0 1 1f0000 raw flash offset. After that - chip is hung, reset is required.
FlashTransmit() called with offset 0x981f0000 when writing 0x10000 bytes. Curiously what data at that Xmodem send to..

So, ltchiptool still need for writing AmebaZ2 devices.

-read works and even with an accidental interruption it managed to carry on from where it was interrupted
-write does not work on Mono

Yes to both points.

I'm attached logic analyzer to RX/TX lines and captured data exchange, SoC correctly sending X-Modem NAK after fwd 0 1 1f0000 command, but flasher not see it.

Well, i found the culprit. mono in linux don't implement DataReceived event for SerialPort which is need for Xmodem implementation.
So, we need:

• start serial IO poll thread when Xmodem is used and feed events
• use other serial port library
• use other Xmodem implementation
