Recurring `'size'` and `'profile'` PeerTube job errors in video transcoding

Bug Report

Problematic Behavior

Two recurring errors have been impacting video transcoding in Marsha:

1. 'size' error (first observed on December 18, 2024)

   • ~155 jobs affected to date
   • Possible impact: Missing resolutions for end-users, even if the video is eventually transcoded.
   • Seems related to: /src/django_peertube_runner_connector/utils/transcoding/codecs.py#L27

2. 'profile' error (first observed on February 4, 2025)

   • ~360 jobs affected to date
   • Possible impact: similar to the 'size' error, resulting in missing resolutions (to be confirmed)

3. ffprobe error (generic, often associated with the above errors)

Context:

• Errors affect both uploaded videos and recordings from BBB classrooms sessions
• Jobs with errors may restart and eventually complete, but with missing resolutions
• No clear link to file size or duration (files ranging from 7.72 MB to 2.83 GB are affected)
• Both runners involved: marsha_main_transcoding and transcoding_sup

Environment

• Marsha version: current 5.12.4 version (further investigation required).
• Platform: production
