I mostly need to work on documentation, tests and notebooks now if you confirm the other ticked points.

I didn't find in the guidelines how to 1) create a new conda env using pyproject.toml, and same for the setup, when you are a dev and the package is not on anaconda yet?

Yes it is this branch, I'll do it soon. Facing major issues in simulations since I switched from plant based to scene based simulations, so I need to fix it before considering the package is stable enough

For #5 , I see CI checks are done only on ubuntu-latest, python 3.10, is there a problem in the pyproject.toml?

No. It will be tested on other platforms when merged. Do not worry

CI now works again on Python 3.13

Now for next steps do you think a tutorial is needed if I point to Root-CyNAPS in the Readme?

Also for other repos which require openalea.metafspm, is CI enough for publication to anaconda.org? @pradal

Yes. First it is build on one os, one python version.
Then at merge it is built on all OS all Python. And uploaded on dev channel
With a tag it is released on channel rc of OpenAlea.
Finallywith a tag+release, it is uploaded in the main openalea3 channel.
Simple isn't?

This is just a first hack to test the full workflow.
When merged, we can improve it and make the doc/tuto better
