Description
Hi, I'm interested in using Cassiopee on Windows and really glad to see the recent
v4.1 Windows binary release (Feb 2026) — that's a great step forward.
That said, for users who need Cassiopee to integrate with other scientific Python
packages in a managed environment (pip, conda), a standalone installer
isn't quite enough. A pip-installable wheel or conda package would bring it in line
with most of the scientific Python ecosystem and make it much more accessible.
- Is a
pip-installable wheel or conda package for Windows something being considered? - Would a PR working towards that goal be welcome? If so, are there any conventions
or constraints I should be aware of before starting?
Thanks for the great work on the library — happy to contribute where useful.
