Hi Klaus / @klrth ,

the documentation talks about HMS-xxxW-2T/ HMS-xxxxW-2T (yes, not consistant ;-) )...
So, all wifi equipped inverter from hoymiles with usage of the prtobuf protocol should be reachable/ usable.

The HMS-1600-4T (excplicitly without W = wifi after the wattage number) are not supported -> a solution for that is e.g. openDTU, there is a need for an extra radio module.

Important: Only compatible with HMS inverters that have built-in Wi-Fi DTU (integrated Wi-Fi). External DTU models (DTU-Lite, DTU-Pro sticks) are not supported.
