Intermittantly Drops Connection

Guessing a google update might have broken something here but I configured the Pi Zero 2W with your system (really awesome btw) and it connects for a second then drops the connection then connects then drops. It was working fine a week ago but my Pixel 9 did have a google update so I am wondering if that is the issue.

Anyway, dead in the water. Going to reset my phone to factory default just to see if that jars it loose. Thanks.

Having the same problem as well with my pixel 9 pro, does anyone have a fix for this? It connects for a second to Android Auto then the connection failed. I tried restarting the phone and the pi zero 2w and still have no luck...

Same issue here with Samsung s20fe and pi zero 2w. Worked for months, recently connects for a second, disconnect.

I found that it is due to beta app issue. If you go to app store and uninstall the beta version of Android Auto, then it will work again.

Have the exact same issue that started a few days ago. S22 and yes am on the daily beta release.

Can go back to public release, but is a ikelihood of whatever the issue is making it there soon?

Update, I factory reset my phone and it works again. Likely the android auto update or pixel update made it funky. Do have some stuttering with the audio. Anyone have a solution for that? Saw someone overclocked their Pi somehow but not sure how to do that. Just seems to have trouble for the first few songs then minimal after that.

Just pulled out my phone and went to check what version and there was an “update” waiting. Looks like they are rolling it back to 15.4.654014-release. So I am rolling back to that version and I will update this if this fixes the issue.

Can confirm what @ingbrzy has experienced. Mine also working again now. No clearing of data or cache was required. It simply hooked up and all 100%, Also on 15.5.654204 now.

Sadly back in that same boat. Tuff choice between remaining on the AA Beta or have a working wireless solution. Will wait it out for a bit and use the cable.
