[Linux] Fails to start OpenGL on Wayland

Describe the bug
When in a Wayland session, SWT fails to open its OpenGL window with message “Unable to find matching FB Config.”
LDPE works well with a full X11 session.
I couldn’t find much of anything interesting with similar reports as other OpenGL and/or X11 apps work fine.  I haven’t tried other Java/SWT OpenGL app though.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Start LDPE in a Wayland session.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: Linux Debian Sid 64bits, KDE Wayland
• Version 1.8.95

thanks for the report. I was able to reproduce the issue on KDE Wayland with Bazzite.
I have found a workaround by setting an environment variable before the program starts.

You have to set GDK_BACKEND to x11.

Ah, okay, I hadn’t found that one variable.  It works here too, thank you 🙂
