Support for github copilot cli

Latest github copilot cli has hook support but I don't get any of the documents generated in /doc (mentioned in the doc when going through nw:command phases) when using copilot.
Also none of the clarifying output use the user interaction tools copilot cli offers access to.

I've been wanting to distribute this to my team. Just that we are on github copilot. Will try using a fork in the meantime as a workaround

Thank you @ghita for trying nWave with Copilot CLI — this is valuable feedback and exactly the kind of real-world testing that helps us understand where we need to go.

Supporting additional AI coding tools beyond Claude Code is on our roadmap. The core engine is being progressively decoupled from vendor-specific hook protocols to enable exactly this kind of integration.

The missing docs/ generation and interactive tool support you describe are expected — Copilot CLI has a different hook and tool protocol than Claude Code. Supporting it properly requires a dedicated adapter.

Status: Vendor-agnostic engine design is active work. Copilot CLI adapter is on the roadmap but not yet scheduled. We'd appreciate any details about Copilot CLI's hook system or tool protocol that could help us prioritize this.
