error while starting network service: 'no such device'

There are 2 machines, call them A and B. I generated a config on machine A using ./edgevpn -g > config.yaml
So far so good. Sent it to machine B (also checked the hashes to be sure). On machine A I start edgevpn using:
sudo ./edgevpn --config config.yaml --address 10.10.0.12/24 - also checked with ip a and yes a network device is created with that same address, however when I do the same on machine B:
sudo ./edgevpn --config config.yaml --address 10.10.0.13/24 it just prints a bunch of logs (attached below) and just quits with the error: error while starting network service: 'no such device'.
Technical details: both machines are running arch linux, both are x86_64

Also to mention: don't worry about the possible confidential data leaked here as logs, the config won't be used anymore after this so feel free to use it :)

I've got this idea that it could be I'm missing a lib that machine A has already installed but which lib?
