kwargs are not actually passed in the matplotlib beachball plotting routine

I have a situation where I would like to save the matplotlib beachballs with a transparent background, but the **kwargs are not actually passed from the function call to any matplotlib function.

Very situational, but may be useful in the future.

This is a very good point, although it's not obvious to me how **kwargs passing should work.

For clarity, I could imagine something like

_plot_beachball_matplotlib(filename, ..., fig_kwargs={}, axis_kwargs={}, contourf_kwargs={})

?
