I have tried venus on next without any other commits, decode seems works fine i think it could be upstreamed https://github.com/barni2000/linux/commits/next/venus/20240404/.
My only issue is find proper load values for freq table to reach same freq scaling behavior like on downstream.

Great! Also one comment in this series, you add qcom,sdm450-venus but don't use it. In newest mainline you can set it in arch/arm64/boot/dts/qcom/sdm450.dtsi
