age-targeted LLIN coverage

Hi all,

I feel like with the funding cuts most countries are experiencing, there are going to be discussions about moving away from mass LLIN campaigns to more targeted ones. Are there (could there be?) any plans to include age targeted LLIN campaigns into the model? I know it quickly gets super complicated - i.e. if you give an under 5 a net, how do you know who else would sleep under it with them, but it seems like the current simplest approach available, i.e. mass campaigns with lower coverage levels, would underestimate the impact of a campaign targeted at the most vulnerable age group.

This feature has been increasingly on our radar too.
Previously, as you say, I've been a bit concerned about our lack of knowledge of where trhe effective coverage ends up following age/school based distributions.
However, I think the implementation of nets in the model mostly abstracts that away (essentially just implementing effective coverage). As such, we probably could work on age-targed distributions -> direct age targted effective coverage, and leave any other assumptions up to the user to work out before hand.
