Open Firefox Focus w/ favourite website w/out Siri Shortcuts

Hi all,

It’s currently possible within Focus to open a favourite website with Siri Shortcuts. Is it possible to add an option in the Focus app settings to have the app open with a favourite site without having to use Siri Shortcuts?

Hey @TheOriginalTomO, thanks for the feature request! Are you able to clarify how exactly you'd like this to work? Were you wanting it to be a 3D touch action or how did you envision it functioning?

Hey @sblatz - no worries, thank you for your response!

3D Touch is a good shout, actually! But as not all devices support 3D Touch, I was envisioning that it would be a toggle option in the settings menu to activate the option, then a field below to enter a specific website.

Would be rather simple to extend our quick action menu to open favorite site.
@TheOriginalTomO, how were you envisioning that users would access the option to open their favorite site inside the app. I understand that they could set it in settings, but how would they enact it?

Hi @oliviabrown9 - thanks for your response! Apologies for my delayed response.

I was envisioning that the user would set it up in settings once. It would have a toggle option to turn it on or off, something along the lines of “Open Focus with your favourite site”. I envision that there would be a field below the toggle option to enter the URL of the site you want to open every time. Then every time the user re-opens Focus, it would automatically take them to that site (like a traditional homepage I imagine!).
