Hi, I recently encountered to a simillar issue. I was trying to open a 15 Mb dwg and the browser just could not handle it.

I uploaded the dwg ( compressed in zip format so the github allow me to upload.)

I tried it. It looks it is one bug on libredwg-web. I will try to fix it.

I’m testing cad-simple-viewer in an Angular app and smaller DWG files work, but a 60 MB DWG fails during the PARSE stage with:
"Worker operation timed out after 30000ms"

I wanted to ask:

1. Is opening 60 MB to 100 MB DWG files currently expected to work?
2. Is there any recommended limit for DWG size or complexity?
3. Is the 30000ms worker timeout configurable?
4. Do you recommend any preprocessing steps for large DWG files?

@HadiN1999 It seems the file is too large and it takes a long time to parse it. Because parser is running in web worker with default timeout setting 30000ms, so it stops parsing after 30000ms.

The solution is to extend AcDbDatabaseConverterConfig to expose timeout parameter and use it in method parse in AcDbLibreDwgConverter.

Another solution is to dynamically set timeout value according to file size in AcDbLibreDwgConverter.

Thanks for the suggestion @mlightcad , I’ll give this a try and get back to you with the results.

One question: if this works, would increasing the timeout or setting it dynamically based on file size cause any performance issues, or do you think it should be fine?
