Flip selection stops working after rotate selection is used

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Select area
2. Flip H or V (works)
3. Rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise (works)
4. Flip H or V (does nothing)

Expected behavior

• flip should continue to work after rotate
