Add Margin to left and right

Is it possible to get the Typora behavior for Monaco? A margin on the left and right, for the lines only?

Here's an example. Typora on top, my app on the bottom:

Here's the css:

.monaco-editor .lines-content {
    margin: 0 auto;
    padding-left: 15%;
    padding-right: 15%; 
    max-width: 1000px;
    box-sizing: border-box;
}

As you can see, the content and line highlighter is cut off. I want to keep the scroll bar to the right in the app window.

This would be the first step to realize a centered text layout (Like VSCode zen mode, but no borders, scroll bar still on the right of the app window)
