Description

After updating from firmware 2.7.14 to 2.7.15 on my Seeed T1000E, I was no longer able to receive messages and all attempts at sending would constantly show as "waiting to be acknowledged" in the Android app (version 2.7.6).

MQTT + proxy to client was enabled (may be relevant as there were several changes to this functionality).

Rolling back to 2.7.14 resolves the issue immediately.

I'm experiencing the same problem with Station G2 (MQTT enabled as well). Rolling back to previous firmware resolves the issue.

We made a change to not implicitly acknowledge if you're connected to MQTT. If you have any nodes in lora range (in non-client mute) you should get an ack. Otherwise, you will not get the ack by purely being connected to mqtt (client proxy or otherwise)

In my case I have two other nodes in RF reach (around +5db), but it seems that my messages didn't reach anybody. Will try later again to flash .15 and enable/disable mqtt

Hi again! Just re-flashed with the v2.7.15. I can't reproduce my previous experience, so definitely in my case it was something else. Will stay on this firmware and if I see something stranger will report.

@nkaminski can you try to re-flash again and see if it still happens?

Having same issue after updated my brand new one. Was working perfectly. Unable to send/receive on t1000e in app after 2.7.15 update. Not a software guy so not sure how much help I can be. I seem to lose connection to teh tracker in my phone. If I force close the app and restat it again. it will work for a couple message sends then I have to force close app and reopen and connect again. Gonna try an alpha version. or I guess go back a couple versions. Don't remember what I had installed receiving it from amazon. 2.5.4 i think it was it. Also each time I reboot defive it will show I am on 2.5.4 then a few minutes later it will say I'm on 2.7.15
