How revios boot from a bootxxx.efi file?

I use /EFI/Microsoft/bootmgfw.efi file to boot, but fail after upgrade to Revios. Specifically saying, I use uefi-shell script to load uefi boot file of windows11. Since I upgrade to revios, I can't boot from /EFI/Boot/Microsoft/bootmgfw.efi or /EFI/Boot/bootx64.efi. Ultimately, I want ask which efi file revios use to boot from efi?

ReviOS does not use a custom or unique .efi boot file. Because the ReviOS playbook modifies an existing standard Windows installation via AME Wizard, it still relies on the exact same Windows bootloader: \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\bootmgfw.efi.

If your UEFI shell script is failing to boot from this file after applying ReviOS, the .efi file itself hasn't been replaced, but your Boot Configuration Data (BCD) was modified. During the finalization stage of the playbook, ReviOS applies a few BCD tweaks:

• Changes the boot entry description to "ReviOS 10" or "ReviOS 11" depending on your OS.
• Sets the boot menu policy to Legacy (bcdedit /set bootmenupolicy Legacy).
• Enables the Last Known Good Configuration (bcdedit /set lastknowngood yes).
• Deletes the useplatformclock and disabledynamictick values.

I would recommend checking your UEFI shell script to see if it relies on a specific BCD description or standard boot menu policy that ReviOS might have altered. You can inspect your current BCD entries by booting into a Windows recovery environment (or from a Windows installation USB), opening the command prompt, and running bcdedit /enum. If necessary, you can rebuild your BCD records using the bcdboot command.

Sorry, forgot to add the suggestions to fix (use at your own risk, but since it's not booting, it should be fine 😅)

1. Boot into a Windows Installation/Recovery USB, open Command Prompt, and rebuild your BCD using the standard bcdboot C:\Windows command.
2. If you want to revert ReviOS's specific boot menu change to see if it fixes your script, you can run: bcdedit /set bootmenupolicy Standard from an elevated command prompt.
