Youtube-Video Not Worked

Hi Tovic,

I wanted to ask you for the advice. I have now installed the Youtube plugin and included first video with this URL at https://youtu.be/ubb-ayji2w4.

The projects page is at https://mechacms.wpzweinull.ch/projekte/youtube-kanal

But unfortunately there is still some mistake.

Do I embed the URL correctly or must it be with the URL with the part "youtube.com .... watch ..."?

Yea, I’m in rush. I haven’t tried the short URL version. I see the problem here and will fix the problem soon. Please uninstall this plugin until I have fixed the bug. This plugin is not ready yet for production.

I found another bug. External URLs will not work if a Youtube video is embedded. Example would be that under https://mechacms.wpzweinull.ch/projekte/youtube-kanal

Can you have a look at the plugin again? The videos are already displayed.

I think that’s the expected result. This plugin will also search for anchor elements linked to YouTube page and then convert them into video.

What/where is the external link you have said point to?

Still not possible to replace YouTube channel URL into video frames. Do you have any examples about video channel that are embedded into blog post? I need to see the source HTML of embed code.

That’s a standard video player, not a playlist.

Just append &loop=1 to the URL query string. Any YouTube URL query string will be applied to the embed code anyway. See → https://developers.google.com/youtube/player_parameters
