iS it possible to edit an existing container

My first rodeo... so bare with me.

I am trying to create a new container with pods, I configure the container, I start it and when there is an issue (for instance with one path not being absolute) I get a 500 error, and container is stopped.
How do I correct the configuration for that path as I don't have access to the Yaml (better yet, I don't know where to look)
