How to install PHP8.2

What is the best way to install php8.2? Obviously it's out of date and most installations of Linux only come with 8.4. Trying to follow the guides but having a hard time not getting any PHP errors when accessing the site.

As for PHP 8.2, it is indeed older than what ships with many current distros. To guide you correctly, could you please specify which Linux distribution and version you are running?
