Update from 4.4.0

Hello, I have been using version 4.4.0 for quite some time. Now I would like to update to the current version 6.10.4.

Does it work as described?

"This update will be the one you have to use if you are following the Release channel.

• Download the newest version.
• Replace all existing files, excluding public/uploads/, public/dist/user.css and .env (and database/database.sqlite if using SQLite as your database).
• Go to the Diagnostic page and click on the Apply migration button."

Or is there anything else I need to bear in mind? I don't want to lose my numerous galleries.
