I have:
Install method used:
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
This feature was introduced as a way to have more control of blur in overrides, but it can cause the following "problems":
- If you decide to use a preset that is transparent with blur on widget backgrounds, you have to make sure blur is enabled in every widget override
- If you switch to a preset that has a blurred panel background, you have to make sure every widget override has that setting disabled (blur on widgets take priority over panel)
A similar situation happens with the System Tray Element, it conflicts with the blur of the Panel Element and I am not sure if someone has ever found blurring just the System Tray to be useful, which is why I am also considering it for removal.
Additionally, this Widget/Tray > Panel priority isn't explained anywhere, which only adds to the confusion.
Describe the solution you'd like
- Remove Blur Custom Background from Overrides
- Remove Blur Custom Background from Tray widgets Element
It can be either or these or both
Describe alternatives you've considered
Keep the feature(s) if user feedback proves them to be useful
Additional context
None
