[Feature Request]: Set gap between screen edge and panel

I have:

• Searched if this feature hasn't been requested yet.
• Verified that I am using the latest version (see Widget settings > About page or top right corner for version 1.1.0 and later), should be the same as https://github.com/luisbocanegra/plasma-panel-colorizer/releases/latest

Install method used:

• Using Plasma's "Add new widget" (KDE Store)
• AUR
• Nix package
• Manually from the latest source code

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I would like to have two panels next to each other, since I only want to use one side of the screen for panel, but it's not wide enough for one panel to contain everything I would like to have there.

Describe the solution you'd like
Manually setting a gap value or distance from screen edge, that the panel would treat as if it were the screen edge.

Describe alternatives you've considered
I tried the margin setting in transparent mode, and visually that is fine for a second panel that is floating and dodges windows, but if it is on the screen, I cannot click through the part of it that is over the other panel below it.

Additional context
This is what I have now, and as you can see I cannot click through to the volume controls, since kitty is above that in the panel.

I was going to tell you to request this to Plasma developers but it seems overlapping panels instead of stacking them is intentional and there is no easy way to have both https://discuss.kde.org/t/panel-overlap-issue-in-kde-6-4-3-did-not-occur-in-6-3-4/37935

I am going to label this as upstream but won't close it in case I find a workaround for the stacking order so one panel can position itself on top of the other (z index)

Right, because then I could force the panel, which is below the other in the y direction on my screenshot, to be on top of the other panel in the z direction so that I could click it. And since only the margin part would be covered, it would seem as if the panels were next to each other. That's a nice idea! I was also wondering (independent of this matter) what determines the z-index, but I worry that it may have something to do with the floating and the visibility settings.
