How about adding the possibility to add monthly income? Or maybe just make it possible to add an expense with a "-" so it's calculated the right way

As stated in the README, I maintain this project primarily for my own use --- and this feature is not relevant to me. So I won't make it myself.

But you are welcome to build this feature yourself and submit a PR.

If you want to go the easy route, I suppose the following validator needs to be modified: https://github.com/bminusl/ihatetobudget/blob/6b2f399322a22a827637f5cac658850126a70b6f/sheets/models.py#L34

... and replace it with a custom validator named ProhibitZeroValidator (or similar).
