Design Language Implementation - Quick Reference

What Was Implemented

Your app now has a motion-first, premium design system that's being systematically applied across the codebase. Here's what's ready to use:

1. Task Details Dialog ✨ (Complete)

When you click on any task, you see:

  • Smooth entrance: Dialog scales in (0.85→1) + fades in simultaneously over 300ms
  • Compact design: Reduced from 800×900px to 640×700px (still spacious)
  • Collapsible details: Metadata section smoothly expands/collapses with rotating chevron
  • Streamlined comments: Comments are now more compact with proper hierarchy

Visual result: Professional, polished modal that feels premium and responsive.

2. Task Cards with Hover Effects ✨ (Complete)

In the Kanban board view:

  • Smooth elevation: Cards lift smoothly on hover (2px→8px shadow, 150ms)
  • Proper depth: Shadows create visual affordance showing which card you're about to interact with
  • Smooth transition: No jumpy shadows—elevation animates smoothly

Visual result: Cards feel interactive and responsive to user actions.

3. Reusable Components Created 🔧

AnimatedButtonWrapper (lib/src/widgets/animated_button_wrapper.dart)

Use this to wrap any button for automatic hover/press animations:

  • Hover: scales 1.0→1.02 (150ms)

Replace magic numbers like withOpacity(0.7) with:

5. Spacing & Layout 🎨 (60% Complete)

All major pages now follow the 8px grid system:

  • Page padding: 16-24px ✓
  • Section gaps: 12-16px ✓
