Include all core parts for customization

Any chance you can get more of the core models in this repo?

Particularly the ones that would be customized, that make sense to be parametric - like the core support beams, for example.

Use Case

I run a nonprofit volunteer makerspace and we're repurposing an old audio cabinet to use as a server rack. The audio rack width is conveniently the same as the 19" server rack standard, which is good because 2 of our machines are designed for that standard. The rest are small, even less than the 10" standard.

If you're curious, I'm testing Homeracker for this mix-and-match scenario, since:

• the rack-mount machines all require different "ears"
• the audio rack has different mounting holes (round)
• and different spacing (same 1¾" unit height though)
• and no back support (needed for the 19" machines, proxmox server and Cisco switch, they're heavy and go very deep)
• the flex mount works for our mini form factor machines (Dell mini PCs, one pfSense firewall and one proxmox server for our proxy) with their own random dimensions
• we also have a Pi (Pi-hole) and small Wyze hub
• might be able to incorporate the remaining devices (WiFi router, fiber gateway) although they're not cuboid or even rectangular prism or even parallelepiped in shape, ugh

I'm inspired by the 19" server rack example files, though I'm not printing the diagonal supports and plastic strength is less of a concern as I'll be fastening the supports to the inside wall of the cabinet (either with a screw through a free hole, or the wall mount models).

Example

Having the core support beams in this repo would allow us to print supports as long as our largest print bed allows, meaning less joiner pieces are needed.

I don't have or use proprietary CAD software so I can't modify the designs you have on Bambu's site (if those are even parametric).

It looks to be part of the design of the wall mount scad file though, so perhaps the work is already done.

First of all: Thanks for the introduction. Really great project you running there. Also very good first issue 😄
And also: Good timing. I am currently working on bringing ALL core parts in this repo as scad files. See:

I am planning on adding the connectors this weekend.
But the support is already usable (see the example). So you could basically export any length already.

Yes 😄 all my designs in fusion are parametric (but those with a dirty history aren't advertise as such ;-) )
