Diagonal Supports for Parallel Beams/Columns

Hello.
I'd like to suggest making diagonal support that connect between parallel beams instead of (or in addition to) connecting two orthogonal beams as they do now.
When I connect a diagonal support to a horizontal beam that supports a shelf, the diagonal support end interferes with the shelf.
I tried removing the end wall of the support so it could be installed without having to disassemble the structure, and also shortened the side wall to prevent the interference, but the wall off the diagonal support that is on the same side as the shelf still interferes with the shelf.

A diagonal support for orthogonal beams that only has 2 sides would also allow assembly without disassembling the structure and without interfering with a shelf.

VERY good idea.
I thought of that recently myself.
Will make this a feature once i "openscad" the diagonal support beams.
