Movement detection idea #26

Hi, sorry for posting like this, but have no idea how else to ask / provide this idea.
I have bought all the hardware for this so I will start playing with it, but reading about the timeout being used as some sort of identifier made me think of the Elegoo integration in Home Assistant that I am running.
That reports the XYZ, that means it should not be a problem to actually get a feedback from the printer about its movement activity, could that not be used together with the filament movement sensor to determine if it should actually move or not?
Just an idea.
P.S.: another idea, could it possible be used with HA, we could do some automations based on ESP input and printer input to HA, if the ESP can forward data from the movement sensor.
