Go to the Home page.
Unfinished media does not appear in the “Continue Watching” section.

Client logs are not sent to the server unless the app crashes. To share client logs you'll need to do some manual steps to connect with your device and capture logs. An instruction to to do so can be found here:

Make sure to reproduce the issue just before getting the logs. If possible, please use the "debug" version of the app as it contains more extensive logs for developers to help debug issues. The linked guide contains instructions on how to install it.

I’ve just checked the web client version and I’m getting the same result. The “Continue Watching” section is not displayed. Should we open a bug in the server repository?

I've experienced the same issue on my Fire TV Stick 4k Max (2nd gen). My workaround is to open the jellyfin app, press the back button (not the home button!!!) until I get back to the android/fire TV home screen, then re-open the app. As far as I can tell, this closes the app entirely and then re-opens it instead of just putting it in the background. When the app is opened again, the home page regenerates from scratch and the continue watching section is added. Obviously this is not ideal, but this workaround is still fast enough to let me find the episode I was on quickly.

If the continue watching section is already present on the home page however, content that you stop watching will be added correctly.

Without digging into the code, it seems like there are two different refreshes; the launch refresh which adds all sections (continue watching, next up, recently added media, etc.) before trying to populate all of the sections, and the update refresh which happens when you return to the home page. The update refresh doesn't cause the continue watching section to be added if it isn't present (I don't know if there is a problem during the process to add the section or if the continue watching status isn't even checked due to the menu section being missing).
