Start date and end date within search not behaving as expected

I have searched the existing issues, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate report.

The bug

I'm able to enter garbage there, and it's also not possible to get rid of the placeholders. So it's not possible to quickly enter a date. The date picker also takes me month by month, so it's extremely slow to find photos from a couple of years ago.

I can't reproduce this. What browser are you on? Can you reproduce this on https://demo.immich.app ?

@bo0tzz I can reproduce this, but only in a special way:

• You have to select a input field
• then press the date selector
• then you can type into the field

I'm using Firefox 148.0, and I can just type in them without even pressing the date selector.

I'm on Firefox 148.0 as well. Do you have any extensions or such that might be interfering?
