Is there a simple way in Tonic to check if all fields are present in a message?

Protobuf 3 have all fields optional, but it is annoying to handle if I just want them all to be passed. Is there a simple way (like a macro) to give a no-Option value or error?

Not built in for proto3 — the field-presence check has to be explicit. Either use optional on each field (which makes them Option<T> in Rust, so you can .ok_or(...) them), or write a small derive-style helper. prost-validate adds #[validate(required)] attributes that do exactly this check and turn it into a tonic::Status::invalid_argument — probably the least boilerplate path.
