Use of Rapid editor in HOT Tasking Manager projects

The Rapid team has confirmed that the project is actively maintained, with a recent release (Rapid 2.5.6) including dependency updates and additional security fixes. They are also continuing development to

1. modernize Rapid’s workflows and
2. include support for ML building footprints via sources such as Overture PMTiles.

We will continue supporting the tool within Tasking Manager. We would like to get your views on the following:

1. How we differentiate projects using Rapid editor as AI assisted projects?
2. Ideas/ views on whether we impose restrictions on mapping and validation based on mapper level for projects using Rapid.

If we restrict validation to those on HOT or similar managed teams, this puts more work them with an already high need.

Can required use of MapSwipe be treated as a by property validation? 3rd pass only taking place after AI creation and MS based validation and subsequent fixups? This leaves validator to the role of validating data created by people and standard improvement comments.

The fixups will have to be manually edited (in a third project) with an emphasis on both MS and TM projects that just rectangular buildings may not be good enough.
