Vital VST (not VST3) crashes Helio on launch.

I'm trying to get Vital to work with Helio, but this seems to crash the application when I try to run the VST version of the plugin from the app. The VST3 version does not play audio, as it does not show any audio outputs.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Launch the Helio AppImage application on Linux
2. Click on Studio -> Orchestra pit
3. Add Vital (VST, not VST3) version
4. Open a new or existing project. Add or select an existing track in the Arrange view, set its instrument to Vital.
5. Attempt to click Vital: Show UI from the selected track in Arrange view.

Thanks for reporting, it crashes for me too even in other hosts. It's been a long-standing issue, but still unresolved and I'm not sure what to do about it. Vital homepage says they have specific requirements: Windows 10, macOS 10.12, and Ubuntu 18.04 and above, could that be the reason?

I've also read up on how Vital itself may have problems for those who want to run it in specific ways, especially standalone - one of these problems include how it runs on MIDI omni by default and exclusively, and there's no way to change this except when launched within a DAW. I'm not sure if Helio has problems handling this, but I've not had a close look at the source for either project.
